Normandy

There are a couple of things I can say about Normandy. It was beautiful in many ways, so much better than Paris. The landscape was gorgeous, the houses were like in storybooks and the museums were wonderful. And? If you go, go without two bus loads of other people.

I most enjoyed our time at Pont du Hoc. The land is still riddled with craters from the artillery and rockets. It was strange to watch Sam and all the children play there.
